Can we really know that God exists? We need to be aware, first of all, that we can’t prove God exists in the same way we can prove the correct solution to a geometry problem or a scientific formula. We should remember, too, that although we can’t prove God exists, neither can we prove that He doesn’t. H. M. S. Richards, Sr., founder of The Voice of Prophecy, put it like this: “It is easy for a person to say that God does not exist, but it is impossible for anybody to prove it. On the other hand, to the one who believes in God, there are many evidences of His existence.” The point is this: God’s existence is ultimately a matter of faith, however, there are many evidences or reasons to believe that God is real. How did we get the Bible?  It’s in the Bible , 2 Peter 1:20, 21, NIV. “You must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” The Bible is not the ideas of men; it is the word of God. God promises to stay involved in the life-long process of spiritual growth. It's in the Bible , Philippians 1:6, NKJV. “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Jesus is the source of spiritual growth.  It's in the Bible , Colossians 2:6-7, TLB. “And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him, too, for each day's problems; live in vital union with Him. Does God really mean it when He says that He will give us what we ask for? Bible texts come to our minds, such as Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you"...  Will He really answer when we call?   Isaiah 65:24: "Before you call I will answer, while you are still speaking, I will hear." Does God answer prayers? Have you ever asked the question, why doesn't prayer work? Why at times does it appear that God ignores us when we pray to Him. What does the Bible say about prayer? Prayer is speaking with God.  It's in the Bible , Jeremiah 33:3, NKJV.
